Membership is one way in which you can join with other DOs to identify local issues, address common concerns, and support one another both informally and through your organization.

The Annual Fall meeting provides you with the latest in practice and osteopathic medicine education, presented through interesting speakers and topics. In addition, WVOMA’s focus includes increasing public awareness of osteopathic medicine and its many benefits.

To advocate for osteopathic medicine and the health of citizens in West Virginia

WVOMA follows issue affecting osteopathic medicine at legislatory, regulatory, and licensure levels, and advocates for your interests in practicing medicine and caring for your patients.

To network with others

Through meetings, conferences, and common interests, membership allows you to connect with other DOs, forming a community of osteopathic physicians.

To encourage students and residents

Through WVOMA’s support, medical students and interns/residents are encouraged to choose West Virginia as their practice home.
